When you arrive at our little corner of paradise<\/strong>, the Camping des Pins, our staff will be on hand to guide you and let you know what you absolutely mustn\u2019t miss before you leave. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Our cycle routes and mountain bike trails<\/h2>
\n\t

If you\u2019d like, you can get around entirely by bike and leave your car behind during your stay. Our cycle path<\/strong> runs from the Verdon to Lacanau if you fancy a ride lasting a day or several days, whether as a couple, with family or with friends. From here to the campsite, it takes just 5 minutes to reach the cycle path.<\/p>\n

If we focus on Soulac, you can reach the village in 20 minutes from the Camping des Pins Soulac<\/a>, or get to the first surf spot<\/strong> and the first beach<\/strong> for your daily siesta in just 5 minutes. <\/p>\n

All around us, the whole forest is signposted<\/strong> for challenging mountain bike rides<\/strong>; the trails are all different and cater for all levels. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n

The little train at Soulac<\/h2>
\n\t

The tourist train<\/a> is a 7km ride<\/strong> that runs along the coast. It\u2019s a great way to enjoy a pleasant time.<\/p>\n

You can get on it on foot or by bike. The starting point is north of Soulac, at Place des Arros,  a 10-minute drive from our place.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Tour of the blockhouses<\/h2>

You\u2019ll find Blockhaus<\/strong> all along our beaches; they\u2019re like historic buildings<\/strong> dotted along the coast. Almost all of them have served as canvases for artists. <\/p>\n

In Soulac-sur-Mer<\/a>, they\u2019re covered in graffiti and feature works by visiting or local artists, such as Yann M\u00fcller<\/a>, who runs the Art Gallery<\/strong> \u2018la plateforM\u2019 in Soulac. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Arros Beach<\/h2>
\n\t

Arros Beach<\/strong> is not to be missed! You can have a picnic there at the edge of the forest or even on the roof of a blockhouse to enjoy the magnificent view of the ocean, the stretch of fine sand, the Grave headland and the Cordouan lighthouse. <\/p>\n

If you decide to head a little further to your right, you\u2019ll find Cantines Beach<\/strong> with magnificent natural pools<\/strong> where you can swim safely with your children, whilst the more cautious members of your group can ride the waves by bodysurfing<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section>\n\n

M\u00e9doc oysters and prawns<\/h2>

To meet the people behind these local delicacies<\/strong>, you need to head out into the marshes where they farm them, or \u2013 in some cases \u2013 to the market in Soulac, where you\u2019ll find Hugo Bertigny every morning; he\u2019s a producer from the Neyran aquaculture farm<\/strong>. The organisation: Curuma<\/h2>

Whether you\u2019re a keen enthusiast or simply a lover of wildlife<\/strong> and flora<\/strong>, get in touch with the Curuma Association<\/a> for guided tours<\/strong> in the heart of nature.<\/p>\n<\/div>

The cuisine of the M\u00e9doc and Soulac<\/h2>

As well as eating oysters and prawns, meat lovers<\/strong> can try Pauillac lamb<\/strong> or our famous M\u00e9doc delicacies<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

You can\u2019t leave Soulac without having tasted the best pastries<\/strong> in Soulac \u2013 C\u00e9cile and Beno\u00eet Vallat run the Royaume de la gourmandise<\/strong>. Head into the village to try the strawberry tart \u2013 you\u2019ll thank us for it. Judici<\/a>, the Soulac ice-cream parlour<\/strong>, which makes its ice cream by hand<\/strong>, is a favourite spot from childhood for any self-respecting resident of Soulac, the M\u00e9doc, Bordeaux or holidaymaker.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Art in the M\u00e9doc<\/h2>

Many artists<\/strong> have left the city to settle in the M\u00e9doc<\/a>, in Soulac or the surrounding area, in order to make a living from their passion<\/strong> and express themselves freely<\/strong> in the heart of nature.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll find Heidi Moriot with her Association Sea (whose sketches feature in many works about Soulac), S\u00e9bastien Rideau with Ras d\u2019eau (a sculpture and lighting studio), Alben with Alben Factory (an outstanding collector)… Yann M\u00fcller, who can be found in the Blockhaus section, as well as Greg Bronard, a talented photographer from the M\u00e9doc, Vincent Richeux and many others.
