The M\u00e9doc is famous for its countless wines, ch\u00e2teaux and vineyards as far as the eye can see.<\/p>\n

The wine route, also known as the route des ch\u00e2teaux starts in Bordeaux<\/a> and ends at the Pointe de Grave, back home in the M\u00e9doc near the camping Paradis les Pins Soulac<\/a>. The pointe de Grave<\/strong> is located in Le Verdon-sur-Mer, 10 min from Soulac-sur-mer, just opposite Royan.<\/p>\n

Bike rides through the vineyards, on horseback or in a pick-up truck, various ways of discovering the wine heritage<\/strong> are offered by wine tourism circuits<\/strong> throughout the M\u00e9doc. Wine tastings, meetings with winegrowers, authentic experiences are to be expected in your program.<\/p>\n

The appellations of the M\u00e9doc<\/h2>\n

The M\u00e9doc has 8 AOC<\/strong>, appellation d’origine contr\u00f4l\u00e9e: Haut-M\u00e9doc, Saint-Est\u00e8phe, Pauillac, Saint-Julien, Listrac, Moulis-en-M\u00e9doc and Margaux which cover 16,500 ha from the north to the south of the M\u00e9doc. The main grape varieties<\/strong> are composed of Cabernet franc, Cabernet sauvignon, C\u00f4t, Malbec, Merlot, Petit verdot.<\/p>\n

We love the colour of our wines which is a deep red<\/strong>, often ruby or purple. Even if you find ros\u00e9 and white in our little paradise, red remains the king of the vineyards<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

For those who are connoisseurs, you can taste 60 Grands Crus Class\u00e9s<\/strong> with an aroma that is sometimes full-bodied and robust or fruity and elegant on the palate.<\/p>\n

The Wine Route<\/h2>\n

The Wine Road<\/strong>, the Route des Ch\u00e2teaux or the M\u00e9doc Wine Road on the famous D2, whose fame precedes it for its sumptuous landscapes in the middle of the water. Special land<\/strong> and prestigious<\/strong> between land and ocean. Don’t hesitate to take a moment out of your stay, it would be a shame not to fit it into the schedule.<\/p>\n
