Several routes are possible to get there. Our advice is to drive to Lamarque and enjoy the route des châteaux. Many ferries cross the river. You can download the timetables and fares here.

The Mascaret

Do you know the Mascaret?

Here in the Médoc, 10min from Soulac-sur-mer, we are lucky enough to be able to live a unique experience called the Mascaret. A wave that goes up the mouth of the Gironde over 100km. It passes by us, for all the curious, to do if you are a gliding fan or to watch absolutely for the pleasure of the eyes.
